We are located in Haute Normandie in the departements of L’Eure and Seine-Maritime, at 2 hour drive from Paris and 1 hour from Rouen and Le Havre.

The region of Haute Normandie is the major flax area in France growing 30 000 ha. of flax which is half of the total flax area in France. It is the area which has the biggest concentration of flax fields and benefits from the favourable soils, and climate and important knowledge of the flax producers. The flax of Haute Normandie is some of the most appreciated of the world.

Historic of TERRE DE LIN

The flax co-operative of the area of Fontaine-le-Dun was established in 1940. In 1974, this co-operative merged with the cooperative in the area of Cany to establish FONTAINE-CANY.

In 1998 FONTAINE-CANY has merged with the co-operative of DOUVREND, then with the one of ROUTOT and of CROSVILLE SUR SCIE in 200 to create the co-operative of TERRE DE LIN.
